About Us

To meet the needs of our clients, Oliver Plunkett CPA was established as a Wisconsin CPA firm to provide accounting, tax, and business advisor services to corporations, small businesses and individuals throughout the Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin area. Recognizing that each client has unique goals, we tailor our services to meet your specific needs. To better meet the needs of our clients, we have individualized services for clients in industries like real estate, manufacturing and distribution, information technology, professional services and various consumer services. These individualized services have enabled us to address their industry specific challenges, compliance needs and standard tax practices.

Oliver Plunkett

Oliver Plunkett has over 20 years of tax and accounting experience providing high quality, proactive and personalized service to a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals to small and mid-size companies in various industries. Oliver's background in public accounting gives him a unique perspective into the financial, tax and business needs of owners.

Oliver began his career in the Houston, Texas office of Price Waterhouse where he rose to the rank of senior accountant. He returned to the Midwest after six years and joined the firm of Blackman Kallick Bartelstein LLP, the largest locally owned accounting firm in the Chicago area. After returning to Milwaukee in 2002, he opened his own CPA firm.

Oliver graduated from Dominican High School in 1981 and is a 1986 graduate of Creighton University with a B.S.B.A. in accounting. Oliver has made a committment to his community by volunteering his time.  He currently serves as a board member of Growing Power, a nonprofit organization that develops Community Food Systems. He has served as board member and treasurer of Lake Park Friends, a Milwaukee County park advocacy group and currently serves on its July 4th events committee. He also served on the National Alumni Board of Creighton University as well as an officer for the Milwaukee Alumni Club. 

Oliver enjoys bicycling during his free time and has ridden his bicycle across the United States on two occasions. Oliver is assisted in his accounting and tax practice by Jill Plunkett, Cheryl Olla-Thorson and Bianca Edwards.
